UOVUNIUSR0080423EXTERNALENUS The Genitourinary Reconstructive Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is an integral member of an academic urology team specializing in the care of patients with complex pelvic floor and lower urinary tract disorders. This role focuses on the evaluation and management of patients with pelvic floor disorders, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, urinary retention, pelvic organ prolapse, genitourinary fistula, voiding dysfunction, urinary tract infections, neurogenic bladder, and complications related to prior pelvic or urologic surgery. The position is structured with initially supervised clinical practice and a defined progression to independent practice, based on demonstrated competency, institutional privileging, and departmental approval. The APP practices in close collaboration with fellowship-trained faculty in endourology, genitourinary reconstructive surgery, and urogynecologic pelvic surgery within a tertiary and quaternary academic referral...
