Job Description
Description UNC Medical Group is seeking a 100% In-Patient, Full-time Palliative Nurse Practitioner to join their inpatient provider team on the campus of UNC Health Lenoir in Kinston, NC and Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, NC. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing clinical care, support, and education for the palliative patient population as part of the health care team. The Nurse Practitioner will also provide excellent patient care services through inpatient consultation utilizing expert knowledge and competencies from a foundation of evidence-based practice in palliative care. This position will proactively identify opportunities to improve the patient and family experience related to acute, chronic, and/or progressive disease.
