A Midlife Health Nurse Practitioner at UVA Health manages comprehensive women's health needs, focusing on menopause, osteoporosis, sexual health, and aging. Responsibilities include conducting physical exams, interpreting diagnostics, prescribing treatments, and counseling patients. Working collaboratively with physicians, certified nurse-midwives, nurses, pharmacists, physical therapists, behavioral health specialists, and other interdisciplinary team members, the APP delivers high-quality outpatient care while supporting UVA Health's missions of patient care, education, quality improvement, and research.
