Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Tele Redlands Community Hospital - SPINE & JOINT 4100 Redlands, CA Pay Rate Frequency: Hourly Pay Rate Max: 76.93 Pay Rate Min: 48.51 Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts Status: Full-Time Registered Nurse New Graduate Application Accepted: April 13, 2026 - until maximum applications reached. To be considered, NCLEX test date must be scheduled by April 30, 2026. Program Start Date: June 9, 2026 (12-18 weeks must be available for didactics and clinical preceptorship no exceptions) Certifications Required: BLS (American Heart Association) ACLS (American Heart Association) within 6 months of hire NIHSS certificate required within 6 months of hire Successful passing of RCH basic arrhythmia course within 6 months of hire Reporting to the Director, the staff RN performs professional role functions in accordance with scope of practice and professional standards, including demonstrating the knowledge and ability to use and/or lead the scope of practice, professional standards and accreditation / regulatory standards, scope of practice for LVN and all other nursing personnel e.g. unlicensed assistive personnel. The RN demonstrates the ability to assess their own professional role performance, current knowledge of theory and principles related to discipline specific practice, and the ability to use a population-based approach to determine patient needs. *Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation. EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:  1.      Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program required. 2.      Experience and/or training in leadership preferred, if acting as charge nurse.   CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: 1.      Current CA State licensure as a Registered Nurse required. 2.      Current CPR certificate required. 3.      Current ACLS certification required. (Grandfathered: existing employees must complete new requirements by 8/31/2026) *Minimum of one year experience

Specialized Nursing Services

In order to meet the critical care needs of our patients, we have created quality nursing teams that can quickly treat patients with conditions that require specific skills.

Our special service nurses work on a few different teams:

  • Rapid Response Team (RRT)
  • Baby Rapid Assessment Team (BRAT)
  • Pneumococcal/Influenza Vaccination
  • Heart Failure Education Core Measure

Nurses on these teams play a critical role in providing patients with life-saving treatments. They have been hand selected for their medical expertise, quick response times, and genuine concern they show for patient wellbeing.
