Trinity Springs, a Cassia community, is hiring a Scheduler/ Staffing Coordinator in Oxford, FL. To be considered for this position, you will either be a LPN or have CNA credentials and active Med Tech certification (AHCA approved). At Trinity Springs, you'll be part of a supportive, mission-driven team that takes pride in making a difference every day for residents and families alike.

In this role, you will organize and schedule appropriate nursing department coverage, including the master schedule, daily schedule and scheduling replacements for shifts. You will also be working on the floor to provide care to our residents when coverage is needed. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, excels at multitasking, and thrives working in a fast-paced environment. This is an onsite position working Monday - Friday! This is not a hybrid role.

Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position with On-Call phone rotations

Shift Available:
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Wage Range: $21 - $27.86 / hour depending on experience

Scheduler/ Staffing Coordinator responsibilities:

  • Coordinate schedule and staffing levels for the nursing department.
  • Rotate with accepting calls from the “on call” phone and potentially covering other shifts
  • Track continuing educational programs for staff.
  • Create training plans for new clinical staff.
  • Complete daily budget report for all nursing hours.
  • Track attendance and coordinate with the Director of Health Services regarding attendance issues.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.
Scheduler/ Staffing Coordinator skills and requirements:
  • Experience in nursing and care assistant scheduling and staffing preferred.
  • CNA credential required and active Med Tech certification (AHCA approved)
  • LPN preferred.
  • 1-2+ years working in an AL setting strongly preferred.
  • Experience with TeamBridge or similar scheduling program required.
  • Works on the floor with resident care as needed
  • Must have flexibility in scheduling.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
