Job Description
Elim Shores, a Cassia community, is hiring a Caregiver to join our team. This position is ideal for someone seeking extra hours or very part‑time work, with a schedule that includes day shifts every Friday and evening shifts every other weekend.
As a Caregiver at Elim Shores, you will provide each resident with routine daily nursing care and services following guidelines and regulations. You will work beside other Caregivers & Nurses to assist our residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and medication administration while promoting dignity, independence and well-being. Our ideal candidate is a compassionate, dependable Caregiver who thrives in a team-oriented environment.
Position Type: Part-Time
Shifts Available:
Fridays: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
Every Other Weekend: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Wage Range: $16.92 - $20.30 per hour depending on experience

Caregiver Responsibilities:
- Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
- Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
- Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.
- Document services performed on computerized charting systems.
- Assist residents with prescribed program activities.
- Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
- Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
- Pass medications.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Current MN Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A genuine desire to work with our elderly population.
