Cardiac Critical Care Nights - Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
Piedmont Heart Institute (PHI), located in the heart of Atlanta, is recruiting for Critical Care Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners. PHIs critical care extenders provide 24-hour, on-site coverage to high acuity patients while delivering the best care possible. This is a full-time position working primarily night shifts.

We are seeking knowledgeable, highly motivated, and dedicated Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who have a strong desire to work in a dynamic environment and excel in Cardiovascular Critical Care.Work with top critical care physicians in an autonomous environment where your skills and input are valued.
Responsibilities:In this role:
You will become competent in a multitude of critical procedures and management strategies to include vascular access and line placements, bedside US, mechanical ventilation, hemodynamics, and complex mechanical circulatory support including ECMO and LVADs.
As a cardiovascular critical care APP, you will be part of a collaborative team who provide specialized care for patients pre and post cardiovascular surgery including heart transplantation, patients with advanced heart failure, cardiogenic shock, and other complex multi-organ problems.

PA: Graduate of a Physician Assistants program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board
or
NP: Graduate from a school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Masters degree in Nursing
Preferred Experience: 3-5 years experience in the CVICU.
