Job Overview:
The Concierge Supervisor provides leadership and direction in management of the Concierge Department. Leads the Concierge team and demonstrates the mission to ensure positive patient, family, visitor and physician experiences and interactions. Assists in the coordination of support services to ensure safety and cleanliness for the campus. Recruits and trains staff, provides continuous feedback on performance as well as completes annual performance reviews. Manages in person visitation requests, addresses visitor compliments and complaints from all sources.
Qualifications:
Required:
High school graduate or GED college preferred
Prior supervisory or lead experience, demonstrated ability to coach, support and hold staff accountable in a fast-paced setting
Minimum of three (3) year customer service experience, preferably healthcare or service environment
Successful completion of all Orientation Programs
Bilingual-Spanish and English required
Scheduling Requirements:
Shift- 8:00am-4:00pm; on call required
Monday-Friday
Full Time- Day
Essential Functions:
Greets, directs and assists visitors at the Concierge information desk.
Maintains positive relationships with all employees, physicians, patients, visitors, and guests.
Orders supplies and department materials for Concierge
Prepares payroll for concierge
Registers visitors and provides visitor passes as needed.
Responsible for helping to establish deadlines for work assignments and completion, monitoring work status and progress
Serves as liaison between physicians, visitors and other hospital affiliated areas
Triages department incoming calls for concierge
Will interview, and train all new concierge hires
Works in conjunction with the security team to coordinate the development and utilization of team-based protocols and policies to support efficiency, quality and profitability of the practice
Serves as the administrator of the visitor management system.
