Overview:
Advanced Practitioner Provider Specialty OP/IP - Urology
This is a Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in-patient opportunity and the expected work schedule is currently Monday through Friday with 8 hour days. This position works collaboratively with physicians, nurses and other allied health staff to provide all aspects of high quality patient care for urology patientsby performing independent post-operative care and coordination of patient care management for a variety of urology indications.
Responsibilities:Provision of care includes, but is not limited to, comprehensive physical assessment, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and in-patient consults, rounding, coordinating care with other Specialties and for follow up as well discharges. Experience with urologic procedures at the bedside is preferred but not absolutely needed. Such procedures include but not limited to: foley catheter placement, urethral dilation, irrigation, cystoscopy.
Additional expectations:
There will be no Operating or Operating Room expectations or opportunities for this position
Masters or Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
