Job Summary:
Under direct supervision of a licensed RN, the Bath Aide position will provide personal hygiene care to our residents or clients to include bathing, showering, and other personal hygiene needs providing hands-on care that brings comfort, dignity, and joy to our residents and clients. As needed, the Bath Aide will function as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) providing basic nursing care to residents or clients in accordance with the resident's or client's assessment and treatment plan. In addition, they will support and maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and clients within Wildflower Court.
The Bath Aide needs to be proficient in speaking English in order to accurately and effectively communicate with residents and clients. Our residents and clients include those from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, socio-economic standing, education, etc. You may be required to learn specific skills necessary to provide the best care to our residents and clients..
Minimum Qualifications for the Job:
Bath Aide (Certified Nursing Assistant I) - $21.74+ per hour
- License(s): Current State of Alaska Certified Nurse Assistant License.
- Certification(s):
- Basic Life Support (BLS),
- Alaska Food Workers Card (Wildflower Court Only)
- Techniques for Effective Aggression Mgt (TEAM) & Behavioral Emergency Response Team (BERT) training within 90 days of hire.
- Experience: No prior experience required. CNA I’s are required to complete initial advanced skills training checklists and advance to CNA II level within 6 months.
- Other : MUST be 18 years of age to work in Wildflower Court
Bath Aide (Certified Nursing Assistant II) - $25.52+ per hour
- License(s): Current State of Alaska Certified Nurse Assistant License.
- Certification(s):
- Basic Life Support (BLS),
- Alaska Food Workers Card (Wildflower Court Only)
- Techniques for Effective Aggression Mgt (TEAM) & Behavioral Emergency Response Team (BERT) training within 90 days of hire.
- Experience: Master entry level CNA I skills and duties and complete initial advanced skills training checklist within 6 months of hire. CNA II must maintain quarterly skills training checklists and competencies.
- Other : MUST be 18 years of age to work in Wildflower Court
Internal Hires: Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.
External Hires: Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based upon relevant experience.

Originally known as St. Ann’s Hospital, the hospital opened in 1886 and was operated by the Sisters of St. Ann until the 1960s. In 1965, the hospital’s operations were turned over to the City and Borough of Juneau, and a new facility was built at the hospital’s present location on Hospital Drive.
Bartlett Regional Hospital is licensed for a total of 57 inpatient beds and 16 residential substance-abuse treatment facility beds in the Rainforest Recovery Center. The hospital serves a 15,000-square-mile region in the northern part of Southeast Alaska. Approximately 55,000 people reside in our service area, with most communities inaccessible by road.
