Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital is where the Tidelands Health organization began more than 60 years ago. Tidelands Waccamaw Rehabilitation Hospital
Tidelands Waccamaw Rehabilitation Hospital is a hospital within a hospital, located inside Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital. It is the region’s only inpatient rehabilitation facility, providing concentrated physical, occupational and speech therapy for acute patients. The rehabilitation hospital is one of a select few facilities in South Carolina accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.

Two cancer treatment centers
Tidelands Health was the first to bring radiation therapy to Georgetown County when we opened the Francis B. Ford Cancer Treatment Center in 2004. And the system’s cancer treatment options have expanded at Tidelands Waccamaw Cancer Center in Murrells Inlet. Responsibilities Position Summary : The Clinical Outcomes Coordinator (COC) is responsible for providing advanced clinical leadership, clinical outcomes management, and clinical education in the perioperative patient care setting and through the transitions of care. Responsibilities Position Summary : The Wound RN Case Manager works with the physicians to coordinate the continuation of patient care and provide patient care with wound healing. Responsible for services such as setting up home health, ordering DME, reports to referring physicians, and data base entry. This position requires the case management of up to 40 patients. Duties include patient chart reviews and other compliance review activities to assist the department. Will also serve as the safety officer of the clinic and in general working with the clinic as a team member to provide optimum patient care services and exemplarily overall customer service as well as complete other duties as assigned. If HBO certification is held, is required to manage the hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatment care of all HBO patients as well as responsibility for all HBO competencies and education of peer RN Case Manager staff.
