The average daily census for the floor is 28 patients per day with an average length of stay of 3.7 days. Med/Oncology Parrish’s Medical/Oncology Unit is a 33-bed inpatient unit, which provides care to adult and geriatric patients. Patients are admitted for common medical diagnoses including, but not limited to, pneumonia, diabetes, renal failure, COPD, and dialysis, as well as hematological/oncological, immunosuppression and radiation-implant therapy.
