UOVUNIUSR0081223EXTERNALENUS This APP will practice in a busy primary care clinic, working closely with other APPs, residents, fellows, faculty attendings in the Family Medicine Primary Care Clinic. Interest in primary care including health promotion, chronic and acute illness management, the ability to work independently within a large, diverse team, an interest in intellectual/academic curiosity will be foundational to the success in this role. Globally, the incumbent APP will be responsible for assessment, diagnosis and the development and implementation of patient-specific treatment plans. This clinician will order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests, as well as consult with other members of the healthcare team when appropriate. Likewise, they will guide patients and families regarding treatments.
