Description The Gene Therapy Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator will coordinate the care of the pediatric blood and marrow transplant gene therapy patients under the direction of the attending physicians in the Peds Heme/Onc transplant service. The Gene Therapy Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator will provide support to faculty who are conducting gene therapy clinical trials within the BMT/stem cell transplant area and design, administer, conduct and coordinate all research activities as part of the clinical research team in general bone marrow transplant and gene therapy. In this role, you will have a leadership role in the implementation of clinical trials and coordination with multi-site trials. You will evaluate the current nursing practices necessary to carry through the research protocols and develop necessary methodologies necessary for study the study.
