Description Senior Licensed Vocational Nurse is a licensed nursing employee who functions as a member of the nursing team in a pediatric primary and subspecialty care ambulatory clinic, under the supervision of the Senior LVN Supervisor, Practice Manager and Medical Director. The Senior LVN performs assigned duties according to the complexity of nursing care needs of the patient and within the range of formal and practical preparation. Major duties include, but are not limited to: provide patient care in an outpatient setting, assist with pediatric procedures, perform venipuncture, phlebotomy, administer medications, manage patient flow, collect data as appropriate, etc. The incumbent will also provide support in the care of allergy patients in the outpatient setting by administering immunotherapy injections, performing skin prick tests, and other procedures, at the direction and oversight of the Senior LVN Supervisor and the Allergy attending.
