28715282 This position is accountable for providing competent nursing care for patients with common health problems, and is expected to deliver competent patient care to a full patient assignment. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Children's polices. The House Resource Pool (or Central Staffing) Department consists of 92 employees who care for patients across the hospital. House Resource staff work on every unit providing treatment throughout the continuum of care. The team members take a variety of core classes so they can provide optimal care to all patients. Team members get assigned to units to back-fill sick calls, leaves and to supplement during times of patient census surge.
