11295 Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care of the patients in the Recovery Room. The RN is responsible for demonstrating proficient nursing skill, exhibiting professionalism, and providing outstanding customer service to patients and their visitors at Conway Medical Center. Qualifications: Education: Associate degree (ADN) in Nursing required. Bachelor’s degree (BSN) in Nursing preferred. Experience Prior experience working in an acute care setting preferred. One (1) year post anesthesia care experience preferred. Knowledge of nursing theory and practice required. Licensure/Certification/Registration Current South Carolina or compact state licensure as a Registered Nurse (SCLLR) in good standing required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. 9941 Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides and documents direct nursing care of assigned patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Nursing care is guided by the physician orders and the nursing plan of care. Patient response to care is reported for evaluation, intervention and modification of the plan of care, and provides accurate and timely documentation of patient services to reflect the plan of care. The RN assists physicians and other nursing personnel in the performance of various diagnostic procedures. Additionally, the RN provides appropriate pain/symptom management, and evaluates patient’s response to treatments/medications. The RN performs functions as noted above and generally with an assigned patient load, but RN is ready and willing to assist care partners with ANY nursing support function and across any case load including other neighborhoods, that may not be the normal primary work assignment....
