Job Description: Position Summary Under the leadership of the department Director and Cardiovascular (Cardiothoracic) Operating Room Nurse Specialty Coordinator, the CVOR RN demonstrates advanced clinical expertise in circulating and scrubbing and is responsible for delivering direct nursing care to all patient populations throughout the Main Operating room according to the policies and procedures of the hospital and department. Important dimensions of this position consist of quality of care, professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, good public/customer relations and a broad nursing knowledge.
