Our patients are here for a variety of behavioral health reasons requiring hospitalization. On 3K we do cohort most of the children at Levine Children's Hospital with a mental/behavioral health diagnosis. However, because we are a medical observation unit, we can also care for patients with a 1-2 day stay in the hospital. Majority of these diagnosis include IV hydration, rule out sepsis, ortho observation, and surgical observation.
