Position Summary: The Supervisor on BMT provides operational and clinical supervision for a work area or unit. Provides front-line supervision to BMT staff while on the unit. Collaborates with the Manager to implement plans addressing performance improvement, quality improvement, advancement of care delivery, and customer/staff satisfaction. Serves as a work area leader and develops systems to ensure efficient workflow and collaborative relationships with physicians and other members of the interprofessional team. Maintains open communication with manager regarding patients, family, personnel and departmental issues. Oversight of clinical and education operations, direct oversight of all Clinical Services inpatient BMT Team members while also providing mentoring as needed.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience in BMT pediatrics preferred. Expert clinical knowledge of unit's BMT patient population. Ability to lead others. Good organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully, both verbally and in writing.

Education/Licensure/Certification: Baccalaureate degree and California licensure in respective discipline required. For nursing: California RN License, Current CPR and PALS Card. National Certification Required. APHON Certification.
