BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced Behavioral Health RN's to join our outstanding and compassionate team at the Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater!

BayCare Behavioral Health at Morton Plant Hospital is an inpatient psychiatric unit that offers 24-hour nursing care for adults dealing with behavioral disorders and addictions. Our experienced team is comprised of psychiatrists, social workers, registered nurses, case managers and mental health technicians. BayCare Behavioral Health at Morton Plant Hospital is a Baker Act-receiving facility.

Current roles available:

• Clinical Nurse II
• Clinical Nurse III - Charge Nurse
• Clinical Nurse Department Pool I

Responsibilities and Skills:
· Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
· Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

*The Clinical Nurse II performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

The Charge Nurse is responsible for:
• Acting as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team.
• Developing self and team members and sharing organizational information.

Required Certifications and Licensures:
· BLS (Basic Life Support)
· RN (Registered Nurse)
· Nurse Specialty - preferred

Required Education:
Clinical Nurse II & Clinical Nurse Department Pool I-
· Associate's or Diploma in Nursing - Required
· Bachelor's in Nursing - Preferred
Clinical Nurse III (charge nurse)-
· Bachelor's in Nursing - Required

Experience:
Clinical Nurse II-
· 1 year RN in an Acute Care Setting
· Or 6 months of Acute Care Setting with prior LPN experience & completed competency assessment.
Clinical Nurse Department Pool I-
· 18 months RN in an Acute Care Setting
Clinical Nurse III - Charge nurse-
· 18 months RN in an Acute Care Setting
· 1 year of leadership experience - preferred
