In 2019, Morton Plant Hospital continues to be a leader in its field, having been nationally recognized by IBM Watson Health as one of the Top 100 Hospitals in the country for the 7th time. The 599-bed facility provides highly technical and specialized care to more than 50,000 patients annually and works in more than 50 specialty areas.
The Clinical Nurse II - Procedural independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization. Also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned. Required Experience includes 1 year acute care experience or 1 year interventional / procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or interventional / procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment. Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
