We are looking for an RN to join the team at Memorial's Wound Care Clinic, an outpatient clinic located in the basement of Yakima Valley Memorial. At Memorial's Wound Care Clinic traditional practices and medicines for wound healing are combined with state-of-the-art technology, such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Wound Care RNs see an average of 8 patients each day enjoying a one-to-one patient ratio throughout. The clinic sees an average of 30 patients each day in 8 patients rooms and 2 hyperbaric chambers. Memorial opened its clinic in late 1997, and within a year the county's amputation rate shrank by 50 percent.

ROLE SUMMARY
The RN completes individualized patient assessments; develops a care plan based on assessment/history findings; delivers patient-centered care that is culturally appropriate; evaluates a patient's response to care and revises as needed. The RN is accountable to deliver care as well as to oversee and delegate to other personnel (clinical & non-clinical) in delivering/supporting the delivery of care.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education: Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
Experience: Previous acute care nursing experience preferred.
Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Washington State (DOH) Registered Nurse licensure required. American Heart Association BLS required until certified in ACLS. ACLS required within one year of hire (if applicable).
