Position Summary

Assists in providing direct quality patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Participates in the assessment of patients. Assists in developing, implementing and evaluating/revising the plan of care.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a licensed practical nurse licensed in the State of North Carolina. Or current compact license.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider status is required upon hire. Demonstrates competencies in nursing practice. Basic computer skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to provide care to all patient populations.
  • Requires at least three months of relative work experience. Working knowledge of equipment utilization, maintenance and safety.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Other Information

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, position.
