The Clinical Decision unit at Piedmont Rockdale;
Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) 14 beds
Patient population consist of chest pain, CHF, uncomplicated STEMIs, hypertensive urgency, unstable angina, and general cardiac conditions requiring cardiac medication management, Nursing competency includes BLS and ACLS certification.
All units provide services to a robust patient population with many opportunities to expand your professional practice and experience. You will grow your skills and have many opportunities to enroll in education that offers CEU’s. We offer our nurses many opportunities to get involved via the shared governance council, unit-based councils, and a plethora of committees so your voice is always heard. MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of a nursing program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.
Two or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred. Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable. Demonstrated clinical competency.
