Informatics Support RN - Clinical Informatics
SUMMARY: This position provides assistance and support in optimizing proficiency in the use of the electronic medical record. This role actively supports leveraging the clinical information system to affect patient-centered care delivery. Working with the clinical team, this role serves as a positive change agent at the bedside. Collaborating with other roles and departments, this position assists in the communication of information system updates and associated process changes to clinical staff and physicians. Works across multiple clinical areas beyond own clinical specialty to assure staff support using the electronic medical record.
REQUIREMENTS: This position requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing with a Bachelor's Degree preferred. A valid California RN license is required with a minimum of two (2) years clinical experience and a minimum one (1) year experience and demonstrated competency with the current electronic documentation system. Ability to work with colleagues in a positive way to help reinforce changes in workflows supporting the intended use of the electronic system and avoiding system work-arounds. RN-BC - Informatics Nursing Certification is preferred.
POSITION DETAILS: Full time, 80 hours per pay period, day shift.
