OUR CARDIAC CATH LAB IS EXPANDING! JOIN THE TEAM!
Conway Medical Center is a 210 bed healthcare system with many outpatient centers and medical staff offices throughout the swiftly growing region. We are located minutes from Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand region of the Atlantic Ocean. Some of the coastal communities we serve are Conway, Aynor, Loris, Carolina Forest, Socastee, Myrtle Beach, Murrells Inlet, and Surfside Beach. We are a not-for profit medical center that has been serving our communities for nearly 100 years. What began as a single small hospital in downtown Conway has grown into a progressive, rapidly expanding organization in one of the country’s fastest growing metropolitan areas. Everything we do revolves around caring for people. Caring for patients and their families and caring for each other as part of our CMC family. Make no mistake we are serious about our mission and have the resources and staff to do it well, but we also know each other and treat each other well. Conway Medical Center's 2,000 team members follow one simple but powerful mission to improve the overall health of our communities by being a leader in health care. As the regions only Duke Health Affiliate in Heart, Conway Medical Center’s Cardiac Catheterization Lab continues to grow providing lifesaving care to our communities. Our services include Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, balloon angioplasty, stent placement, pacemaker and intra-cardiac defibrillator services.

All organizational staff, including this position, are specifically required as a condition of continued employment to make advance preparations for their families and pets in the event of weather emergencies such as Hurricanes and flooding threats. Any staff member can be determined as essential staff required to report to the facility during these events. In many cases this means reporting and sleeping at the facility before, during and after a weather emergency. By signing this job description, the staff member accepts this responsibility of readiness to report to work during any designated emergency staffing situation. CMC staff members operate as one team meeting the healthcare needs of our communities, thus this position will on occasion complete other duties as assigned beyond those designated in this primary job description which may include “float” coverage at an alternate facility, department or assignment.
