Assumes responsibilities and assignments for the oversight of the administration of medication to persons served in the CILA residences. Train non-licensed CILA staff to administer medications and provide self-administration of medication training to individuals who reside in the CILA homes. Nursing duties will include case coordination, treatment planning, patient assessment and education, crisis intervention and discharge planning.
Employee will adhere to the Memorial Health (MH) Code of Conduct, the MH Ethics and Corporate Compliance Plan, MBHC policies and procedures, as well as performance standards established by the governing board/administration and accrediting bodies.
Education:
Successfully completed the DHS Nurse-Trainer Training Program.
Licensure/Certification/Registry:
Registered Nurse with current State of IL license.
Experience:
Two years of professional nursing clinical experience within the last 5 years preferably in the field of developmental disabilities.
Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Must complete a fingerprint background check and drug screen. Must have valid IL Driver’s License, clean driving record and proof of automobile insurance.
