The Community Health System is a locally owned, not-for-profit, public-benefit organization based in Fresno, California. Community is the region's largest healthcare provider and private employer. We operate a physician residency program with one of the nation's top medical schools – the University of California, San Francisco. Clovis Community Medical Center opened at its current location as a 109-bed hospital in 1988. Since then, there's been nothing but growth. Today, Clovis Community has 208 private patient rooms and another 144 under construction. We've added a $68 million freestanding Cancer Institute and other specialty programs and now perform more than 13,000 surgeries annually.

The role of the clinical nurse is to deliver patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs with the highest professional standard while promoting nursing excellence through continued education and research, based on the Title 22 and Title 16, the ANA Scope & Standards of Practice, the Code of Ethics.

Experience and Education Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of approved nursing program.
• Current California Registered Nurse License.
• Current BLS certification.
• Consistent demonstration of Novice / Advance Beginner clinical nursing practice proficiency.

Preferences:

• Bachelors of Science Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Current ACLS certification preferred.
• Current PALS certification preferred.
