Position Summary

Assist in providing direct quality patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Participates in the assessment of patients. Assists in developing, implementing and evaluating/revising the plan of care. Attends educational programs and staff orientation which promote and professional development. Develops leadership role within the LPN scope of practice. Participates in Service Excellence Program.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School plus less than 1 year of formal training or education Specify: LPN Diploma
  • CPR certification; exposure and practice of medication administration from educational preparation and student clinical practice.
  • North Carolina LPN Licensure or evidence of application for endorsement and holding temporary LPN licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
