Assistant Nurse Manager - ICU/CCU 2021-111160

RELOCATION ELIGIBLE POSITION for experienced RNs.

We are currently interviewing for ICU Registered Nurses with at least two years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Works in partnership with Nurse Manager and other leaders to create, support and maintain a culture of professional accountability
• Utilizes the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements, Novant Health Nursing Practice Model – Duffy’s The Quality - Caring Model©, evidence-based practice and guidelines from formal nursing organizations as the foundation for nursing practice
• Develops and implements an education plan for areas of responsibility annually in collaboration with Nursing Practice Education and Research
• Monitors and improves team satisfaction through recruitment and retention initiatives

Our Critical Care unit is a telemetry unit that see’s patients that may require connection to machines such as heart monitors, ventilation, noninvasive respiratory support. Non-invasive cardiac output monitoring, temperature management post cardiac arrest, post TPA stroke patients, septic patients, respiratory failure, and patients with unstable cardiac rhythms. In addition, we respond to Rapid Response (RRT), code blue, sepsis alerts, and code strokes.

• Education: 4 years Bachelors Degree required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Graduate Degree preferred.
• Experience: 2 years preferred. Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience. Prior demonstrated nursing leadership preferred.
  
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current RN licensure in appropriate state required.Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications.
• Additional Skills Required: Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
