Under the direction of trauma program leadership, evaluates the quality of care, treatment and outcome of the trauma patient population. Works collaboratively with the Trauma Services staff, Trauma Program Manager, Trauma Medical Director, and all interdisciplinary staff. Develops trauma quality action plans and performance improvement initiatives. Oversees data, quality and PI of the trauma program.
Must obtain Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within three years of employment or will not be eligible to continue in the role. Coursework is completed outside of work hours. Nurses with an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), hired/rehired or transferred from a non-nursing position prior to 12/1/17 are grandfathered into the role and not required to obtain BSN.
Registered nurse in state of Indiana, TNCC. Must have current CPR certification.
Three years trauma critical care experience. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and coordinate events. Previous leadership experience desired.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be able to handle a constantly changing environment in order to meet the needs of the patients. Must have the desire for life long learning, flexibility, trust, quality, teamwork, and stewardship.
