Are you looking for a job where you can connect with your patient on a 1:1 level in an uninterrupted environment? Give Home Health nursing a try. Our home health nurses work independently using a wide variety of nursing skills in the Augusta County Service area. Work as a member of a strong interdisciplinary team. We offer a robust orientation plan. On the job training will be provided. No Home Health experience necessary.

Our Non-Exempt Home Health nurses work primarily Monday-Friday, 0800-1630 with an every 3rd weekend rotation. We have a limited holiday commitment. Our mileage reimbursement is based on the federal rates. We are partnered with a triage company to ensure our nurses have a minimum amount of on call time to promote a work-life balance. Staff safety is a top priority. Therefore all calls after 9pm are handled exclusively by the Triage company. We have a reasonable daily productivity standard that helps to promote a work-life balance.

Requirements

  • Must be RN licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Minimum of one (1) year of recent RN experience
    • Home Health experience preferred
  • Must be able to independently drive to and from patient homes
  • Positive attitude, with enthusiasm for caring for our community
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
