The goal of case management is the provision of quality and cost-effective healthcare services. The case manager realizes this goal by organizing rehabilitation healthcare services to promote optimal outcomes for the individual. The process includes planning, organizing, coordinating, and monitoring the services and resources needed to respond to the individual’s healthcare needs.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Licensed Vocational Nurse with prior case management and workers compensation experience or Medical Assistant with case management and workers compensation experience or A prior Claims Examiner with loss time experience and medical knowledge preferred.
Candidates with experience in rehabilitation of catastrophically ill/injured individuals preferred.
Candidates must maintain continuing education as appropriate to their specific licensure requirements and case management renewals if applicable.
Familiarity with resources available regarding the regulations and parameters of third-party reimbursement and the workers compensation system of CA.

Our acute rehabilitation hospital patient programs are among the most intensive and progressive, allowing nurses advanced training to specialize in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation.
Casa Colina's physician leaders and rehabilitation teams provide innovative medical and rehabilitation services to more than 10,000 people a year. This continuum of care is provided within the Medical/Surgical Hospital, Rehabilitation Hospital and Outpatient Center; nearly 20 specialty physician programs; an associated imaging center and ambulatory surgery center; a thriving long-term residential program with six locations; an adult day health care center; a transitional living center; children's services at our campus and at school sites; plus many community programs.
