As an operating room nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a high tech surgery suite and perform a wide range of services to your patient from scheduled elective cases to emergent surgical procedures. The OR RN plans and performs nursing care to patients from a variety of acuity levels during the operative phase. The RN is responsible for providing a safe environment during the surgical procedure. The Registered Nurse is accountable for the coordination of direct patient care, education, and serves as a leader of the patient care team. The RN will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high quality patient care.
