The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing hospital functions on a designated shift. He/she confers with the Clinical Directors, nursing staff, physician and other department personnel as necessary to meet the overall needs of patients. Informs the hospital administrator on call of any situation that may require attention. Manages staffing to provide continuity of professional nursing care.
*Education: Graduate of a school of nursing.
*Experience: At least 2 years in an acute care facility. Previous charge nurse/Clinical Coordinator Experience required.
*License/Certifications: Current Georgia nursing license. Current American Heart Association BLS, PALS and ACLS.
