Job Description

The Denver Hospice has an immediate opening for a RN Afterhours Centralized Call Center - Sign-on bonus $2,500. To be considered for remote, must live in Colorado.

Location: 8299 E. Lowry Blvd., Denver, CO

Status: Full-Time

Schedule: combination of 8 and 12 hour shifts (8p-8a), 4:00p-12:30a

Pay Range: $33.19 - $44.81 / hourly

Supplemental Pay: Based on position, schedule and/or availability: Paid Mileage/Shift Diff/Stipends/Overtime

Mileage and Expense Reimbursement: 50 cents per mile

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for answering after-hour calls in an effort to facilitate caller access to appropriate level of care. The RN-CCC functions as a resource and provides support across all affiliates.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
  • Minimum Experience: 1-2 years of experience in hospice/palliative care, medical/surgical, public health, oncology, acute care or home health.
  • Required License: Current Colorado RN license. Valid Colorado state driver license/proof of auto insurance.
  • CPR certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift minimum of 30 lbs.
