The Neurosurgery Operating Room Nurse Manager (Manager, Patient Care Services) will be responsible for managing two direct reports who are in the Clinical Staff Leader (CSL) role and will have overall responsibility for leading a team of 26 staff members. This team currently includes CSLs, OR nurses and surgical techs working in 7-8 operating rooms. We are seeking a candidate with leadership/supervisory experience in the operating room suite. Neurosurgery experience desired.

The Manager, Patient Care Services of Neurosurgery, will report to the Director, Perioperative Services on the main campus at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
The Neurosurgery team consists of Nurses, Surgical Technologists, Radiological Technicians, Residents, Surgeons and Anesthesia Care Providers who provide high-quality perioperative care for adult patients in four subspecialty areas:
The Neurosurgery Team functions at the highest levels of performance and efficiency; with our focus continually on safety and advocacy for the patients and family members trusting us with their care. The members of the Neurosurgery POD are team-oriented, able to multitask, and function in a highly technical, fast-paced environment.
