Novant Health is seeking Assistant Nurse Manager to join our Central Scheduling and Staffing Office to serve as leaders of the healthcare team by establishing an authentic, personalized relationship with the patient and their support system. CSSO Registered Nurses are responsible for providing safe, continuous quality patient care in a variety of settings. The CSSO is part of a market based, corporate float pool team that is assigned to varying units to ensure that patient care needs are met within the assigned facility. Individuals in these positions possess the skills, competency and qualifications, as well as a requirement to work in all facilities within a defined market: Greater Winston-Salem (GWSM) market. The specialties within the CSSO float pool include: Medical Surgical/Telemetry, Critical Care, Behavioral Health, Emergency, Women’s and Perioperative Services.

Assistant Nurse Manager:

1. Two years acute care experience preferred.

2. RN's with either 2 years of Medical Surgical or Critical Care Experience preferred.

3. Able to work 3:00pm to 11:00pm

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. Or candidate without a Bachelor’s degree must show evidence of enrollment and registration in a Bachelor’s program as outlined in education agreement.
• Experience: Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience preferred. Prior demonstrated nursing leadership preferred.
• Licensure/certification/registration: Current RN license in appropriate state required. Unit/Department specific required certifications.
• Additional skills required: Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
