Job Description

We are looking for a Clinical Coordinator with the Cardiac Progressive Care Department at St. Jude Medical Center.

Location: Fullerton, CA

Work Schedule: Full time - 72 Biweekly hours

Shift: 12 Hour - Night shift

Job Summary:

The Clinical Coordinator will coordinate the activities of the Patient Care Unit to facilitate quality patient care in support of the Mission and Values. The Clinical Coordinator assumes responsibility for the administration of the nursing unit as delegated by or in the absence of the Nurse Manager.

  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to create a calming, nurturing environment for patients.

Position Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree Nursing.

Experience:

  • 3 years' experience in specialty or related area (telemetry, progressive care or step down)
  • 1 year Acute Care experience.

Preferred Position Requirements:

Experience: Cardiac Monitoring experience.

License and Certification:

  • Current CA Registered Nurse License.
  • National Specialty Certification (within 1 year of transfer/hire into position).
  • American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
