Provides supervision for all nursing units for a 8-12 hour tour of duty. Coordinates staffing coverage for patient care units based on the patient classification system and the basic staffing pattern. Assumes the administrative duties of the Nursing Office as relief Supervisor.
Education and Formal Training: Graduate from an accredited Registered Nurse Program. Current valid North Carolina R.N. license with biannual renewal. Participation in continuing education programs on ongoing basis to keep abreast of new trends and techniques in nursing and management.
Work Experience: At least two years nursing and at least one year management experience.
