WayneForce RN Staffing Pool
Eligibility:
Compensation: $70.00 per hour
Health Insurance: Coverage is effective the first of the month following date of employment. The HSA (Health Savings Plan) option is available to RN’s in this role. The employee paid HSA bi-weekly premiums are as follows:

Teammate only $115.32
Teammate and Children $399.06
Teammate and Spouse $538.08
Teammate and Family $647.76
Benefit Exceptions: WayneForce RN’s are not eligible for any other hospital benefits such as dental, PTO, life insurance, disability etc. except for group health insurance and any state or federally mandated benefits such as FMLA, COBRA, social security etc.
Duration of Assignment: Temporary thirteen (13) week assignment with the option to extend at the discretion of the Director and agreement from RN. Employer agrees to notify RN of the desire to extend the 13-week contract within the 9th or 10th week of the contract. RN will have one week from the date of notification to notify director of their desire to extend the contract. If RN is interested in extending assignment, the RN will notify employer of interest by week 8.
Schedule: Rotating shifts (7a-7p and 7p-7a) to include weekend/holiday rotation. Three 12 hour shifts per week with a minimum of two weekends per six week schedule. Position will include rotation to inpatient units including Covid units. During times of low census, hospital has option to call off for one 12 hour shift per pay period.
Waiting Period to apply for permanent position: WayneForce RNs must complete at least one 13-week assignment before being allowed to apply for a permanent FT or PT position at Wayne UNC. Selection for any open position will be based on objective criteria including: directly related experience, availability, flexibility of schedule, work performance and any applicable corrective action in place.
Agreement Terms: This agreement can be cancelled once a two (2) week notice is provided either by the Hospital or the Registered Nurse or immediately in the case of egregious performance issues, behavior or attendance issues as determined by Wayne UNC policy.
Retirement Program: This position is not eligible for participation in Wayne UNC Retirement Savings Plans.
