Emergency Department Nurse:

Are you a Registered nurse looking to utilize your Medical Surgical, Cardiac and/or Emergency Services experience? Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center Emergency Services Department is looking for an Emergency Department Admission Registered Nurse that is willing to be a part of a dynamic, flexible and energetic team. We are looking for customer service-oriented individuals with a passion for their patients. The Registered Nurse will be able to use their experience to meet an emergent patient where the patient is in their continuum of care. The Emergency Department Admission Registered Nurse can expect to care for pre-op patients and patients awaiting inpatient admission, as well as being content in caring for emergent patients. As an ED Admission Nurse you will use your skills and experience to broadcast your nimbleness, and ability to transition your nursing care to meet the needs of a diverse group of patients. While a direct Emergency care background is ideally what we’re looking for, being a positive, upbeat and committed RN is what Novant Health values.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.

Experience: One year of relevant experience preferred.

Licensure/certification/registration: Appropriate state RN licensure required. BLS Healthcare Provider required, ACLS required.
