Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
The Nurse Pracitioner/Physician Assistant provides comprehensive health care including th assessment and management of the healthcare of patients seen in the Pre-anesthesia testing area. the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will perform medical acts, tasks, and functions under the supervision of a physician, and in accordance with rules adopted by the North Carolina Medical Board and the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
Nurse Practitioner: Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college of nursing; Current licensure as an RN in the state of North Carolina; Licensure to practice as Nurse Practitioner in state of North Carolina; National certification as Family Nurse Pracitioner preferred.
Physician Assistant: Graduate of Physician Assistant program from accredited university program; Certificate of valid registration to practice in state of North Carolina.
Work Experience: Six months to one year experience in a physician practice, hospital setting, or surgical services.
