Job Description

Summary

Current SC Nursing License required and ACLS, BCLS preferred. Experienced RN's are encouraged to apply. The qualified candidate must have at least one year of RN experience to qualify.

The Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, utilizes knowledge and skills to provide direct age-specific and culturallly appropriate care through the use of the nursing process based on knowledge of principles of growth and development, serves as a clinical resource, participates in patient and staff education, demonstrates leadership, and serves as a preceptor.

PRN associates may have flexibility, working with their Manager, in preparing their scheduled hours to work. Working schedules shall be arranged according to unit need and based on the associate's availability. The PRN associate will work with their Manager on a four to six (4-6) weeks calendar of availability. Once the shifts are confirmed, the shifts shall be considered as pre-scheduled and absences are treated as such. PRN associates may be requested to work additional hours as the need arises.

32 hours per pay period or

832 hours per year
