Supports the organization's mission, vision and values by exhibiting competence in demonstrating knowledge and skill to carry out nursing process when providing care to all patients; supervising delegating, coordinating personnel assigned to unit/patient care when in charge. Should always promote teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments, performing age-specific care as appropriate. Supervises and coordinates the activities of personnel and engages in a variety of procedures in various units of the departments through interpretation of departmental policies and procedures for unit managers and staff personnel; participates in the investigation and preparation of reports relative to the importance of nursing care, safety training and personnel performance.


Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid Multi State or Oklahoma RN License, BSN preferred. Current BLS certification required, ACLS and PALS preferred. Three years of experience in specific clinical area with one year previous management experience in clinical specialty preferred. Demonstrates ability to perform the technical skills and critical thinking outlined in performance standards. Must be able to provide nursing cate to patients of all ages; infants to geriatric population. Demonstrates leadership and teaching skills. Proficient typing and computer skills preferred. Must obtain ACLS within 6 months date of hire; must obtain PALS within 6 months of date of hire.
