Join a dynamic Oncology Service as a Nurse Practitioner. Make a difference in our patient’s lives.
In collaborative practice with the Medical Director, attending physicians and fellows, you will be responsible for providing independent clinical assessment and patient care management services for the Oncology Center patients. You will be employed by UCLA Oncology Practices to assist in direct patient care. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for communication and feedback with patients, families, and referring physicians and will serve as a clinical care extender of attending Oncologists. Incumbent must be self-directed and function with minimal direct supervision. Qualifications
MSN with a Nurse Practitioner Specialty in, Acute, Family or Primary Care.
Current California Licensure as RN and Nurse Practitioner. Current CPR/BCLS. National NP certification required.
Oncology experience as an RN or NP strongly preferred
Skills and abilities to perform accurate assessment and evaluation of oncology patients
NP I Less than 6 months of NP experience
NPII 6 months or greater of NP experience
