Crossroads Behavioral Health Unit is currently seeking an experienced behavioral health registered nurse to join our close-knit team on a 20 bed adult locked unit and an 8 bed geriatric locked unit. We understand that each patient has a unique set of challenges that require a compassionate and dedicated team of professionals to establish a personalized treatment and recovery plan. Qualified candidates will demonstrate positive interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and physicians. This position will work 8 hour evening shifts (3-11pm)

The Registered Nurse is accountable for the coordination of direct patient care, education, and serves as a leader of the patient care team. The RN will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high quality patient care.

  • Must be an RN licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Must have a strong desire to work with a high-risk and complex patient population
  • Must have solid critical thinking skills and a strong application of the nursing process.
  • Must have effective adherence to infection control practices
