Essential Functions:

  • Assists patients with personal care to preserve good personal hygiene while maintaining a healthful, safe environment
  • Performs simple procedures as an extension of therapy services, such as ambulation, ROM, and exercise
  • Establishes and maintains a good working relationship with the patient/family and co-workers of the network
  • Performs household services essential to health care at home including meal preparation, shopping/errands, laundry and housekeeping

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous work experience as a caregiver or clinical experience as a nursing student or have an active CNA certification
  • License/ Certification: Active Home Care Aide Registry; Active CPR/BLS
  • Other: California driver's license, proof of current auto liability insurance and/or reliable transportation

Additional Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation
  • Weekend and holiday rotations

Preferred Position Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a caregiver
