Job Summary: The
Clinical Systems Analyst is responsible for coordination, communication, and
collaboration of training for the Cerner clinical information system for staff,
students, instructors, and physicians. Facilitates with areas that interface
with the clinical and physician services in relation to the clinical system and
use. Provides ongoing user education and support for various committees as the
clinical system is updated.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor's degree in nursing
preferred. Current RN licensure from North Carolina State Board of Nursing.
Knowledge of clinical nursing and clinical information environment. Ability to
communicate with all levels of staff. Ability to organize, prioritize, and
analyze. Ability to utilize critical thinking in problem solving. Must be able
to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate
to the age of the patients served on the nursing unit(s). The individual must
demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life
span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status
and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's
requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care
needed as described in the unit's/area's/department's policies and procedures.
